Score Call Numbers - Alphabetical By Instrument

Here is a simplified list of call numbers used for instrumental music at San Francisco Public Library in alphabetical order.

For wind and string instruments the call number below is the area for studies, instruction, and methods.

Adding an extra "1" to the call number is the area for solo works, unaccompanied or with piano accompaniment.

Adding an extra "2" to the call number is the area for duets of like instruments, with or without piano accompaniment.

Adding an extra "3" to the call number is the area for trios of like instruments, with or without piano accompaniment.
